Dayna Miyashiro, MD

Dr. Dayna Miyashiro was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She obtained her medical degree from Creighton University and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She began her medical career as an active-duty physician in the Air Force, where she practiced both outpatient and inpatient medicine and held multiple leadership roles and academic appointments. Following her military service, Dr. Miyashiro pursued fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at the Scripps Clinic in San Diego, where she also served as Chief Fellow. During her training she conducted research in the areas of chronic cough and drug allergy alerting through clinical decision support tools. Dr. Miyashiro has a passion for delivering individualized care particularly for patients with multiple medical conditions. Her clinical interests include chronic cough, chronic sinusitis, severe asthma, eosinophilic airway disease, and chronic urticaria.
