Tanha Patel is a certified physician assistant at Modena Health who is passionate about improving the quality of life of her patients by providing personalized, evidence-based care.
Originally from Virginia, Tanha earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech and completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University. During her time at Virginia Tech, she was an Odyssey Fellowship winner and received the Leading Lights Distinguished Volunteer Award, an honor from the local community recognizing her commitment to service, a value that she has carried with her throughout her PA training and into her clinical practice.
She began her career caring for patients across all age groups in a busy emergency department outside of Washington, D.C., where she gained years of invaluable experience managing a wide range of acute conditions, including asthma exacerbations, angioedema, and anaphylaxis. At Modena Health, she now focuses on prevention of these cases and provides comprehensive care to patients with environmental allergies, food allergies, eczema, asthma, and immunologic conditions. She is dedicated to developing individualized care plans and believes that patient education and collaboration are key to achieving sustainable long-term health and well-being.
Outside of the clinic, Tanha enjoys being active and spending time outdoors —whether hiking in the mountains or relaxing at the beach. She also loves attending concerts and trying new coffee shops. Through her work at Modena Health, she hopes to help her patients feel their best so they can fully enjoy the activities they love.
