We're excited to share that Allergy & Asthma Specialists Medical Group is now part of Modena Allergy + Asthma.
Through this transition, the team continues to care for pediatric and adult patients at 17742 Beach Boulevard, Suite 310. Joining Modena Allergy + Asthma means access to a larger clinical team, expanded services, and the infrastructure to increase our hours and offerings for you and your family.

Allergist & Immunologist
Dr. Steven Weinstein is board-certified in allergy, asthma, and immunology. He received his medical training at the State University of New York at Buffalo and the University of California, San Diego.
He completed his Allergy and Asthma fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, a major teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School, where he also served as a clinical instructor.
Dr. Weinstein has held leadership roles in several professional organizations, including the Western Society of Allergy and Immunology and the Orange County Society of Allergy and Immunology. He also served as President of CRN/Allergy and Respiratory LLC, a national network of clinical research sites.

Allergist & Immunologist
Dr. Emily Robbins is a double board-certified allergist and immunologist who treats both children and adults. A Chicago native, she completed her pediatric residency in New York City and her allergy and immunology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Washington, D.C.
Her research on the microbiome, eczema, and food allergies has been published in multiple peer-reviewed medical journals. Dr. Robbins is passionate about treating and preventing asthma, eczema, and allergies, with a particular focus on helping patients overcome food allergies and live life with fewer limitations.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, trying new foods, and spending time with her husband, son, and golden retriever, Indy.

Clinic/testing hours: Monday 9:00–11:00 AM; Tuesday 9:00–11:00 AM and 2:00–4:00 PM; Thursday 2:00–4:00 PM; Friday 9:00–11:00 AM and 2:00–4:00 PM. Wednesday is closed.
Patient Questions
Dr. Steven Weinstein will continue caring for patients at the Huntington Beach location. In September, Dr. Emily Robbins will be joining the care team and will be accepting new patient appointments for both adult and pediatric patients. If your care will transition to a new provider, our team will communicate with you directly and work to maintain continuity of care.
No action is needed at this time. Most scheduled appointments will continue as planned. If your appointment needs to be rescheduled or adjusted, our team will contact you directly with updated information and help you find a convenient new time.
Yes. As part of the transition to Modena Allergy + Asthma and our new patient system, all patients will need to complete new patient paperwork, regardless of how long they have been with the practice.
We accept most major insurance plans. Please contact our office if you have questions about your specific coverage, and our team will be happy to help confirm your benefits.
Our goal is to ensure there is no interruption to your medications or refills during the transition. If there are any changes that affect your prescriptions, our team will contact you directly and guide you through the process.
No. Your medical records will continue to be maintained securely. If you prefer to transfer your records to another provider, you may request a copy or authorize a transfer by October 1, 2026 by calling our office at 714-848-8585. After that date, Modena Allergy + Asthma will continue maintaining your records in accordance with applicable requirements.
